About Me

My practice began at home with online yoga classes for pain and stress relief. Through years of practice and study, I’ve developed a deep passion for therapeutic yoga.

This type of yoga is designed to alleviate specific health conditions, such as chronic pain or anxiety, with a holistic approach. It integrates and heals you in all dimensions—body, mind, heart, and soul.

As a teacher, my greatest interests include:

  • how to integrate yoga into modern-day life

  • how to adapt yoga for all bodies and minds

  • how to use yoga to prevent disease or illness and maintain good health

Intake

During our initial session, we will explore your concerns, goals, and purpose for seeking therapeutic yoga. An honest and thorough intake will ensure we develop the most suitable yoga program for you.


Goal Setting

It is proven that we are more likely to achieve our goals when they are meaningful and realistic. That’s why we take time to explore what changes you truly want to see in your life and then turn them into SMART goals: specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.


Practice

You will be guided through your program in sessions with me, but the magic happens when you do the practices on your own! Based on your open feedback on how the practices feel, we make adjustments to ensure you achieve your goals.

  • Frequency: 3 times per week

    Asana / Movement Practice:

    • surya namaskar flow x3

    • dynamic virabhadrasana II

    • prasarita padottanasana

    • balasana

    Pranayama / Breath and Mindfulness Practice:

    • 4:6 breath ratio with nyasa - 6 rounds

    • breath awareness meditation

    Lifestyle Recommendation:

    • slow morning coffee

    • brain dump journaling
